“The co-owner of Elmwood Farm Bed & Breakfast cleared a hurdle Wednesday night in getting a special exception to establish a distillery on the property southeast of Williamsport.
Selena Wilkes said she planned to start the next day on the state and federal licensing processes to create a distillery to produce spirits.
The licensing process could take six months to a year, she said.
