On behalf of the members of our guild, we present the “Spirits of Collaboration” series.
Available at Guild events and on special occasions, these unique bottlings display the qualities trumpeted by this most innovative industry: cooperation, creativity and generosity.
Gin, Volume 1 | Gray Wolf Craft Spirits & McClintock Distilling Company
This unique gin is the first entry in the “Spirits of Collaboration” series. Gin, Volume 1 unites Eastern and Western Maryland distillers. The flavor profile of this gin is inspired by Maryland’s native flavors.
Borrowing from Gray Wolf Spirit’s Timber gin, known for its inviting, spiced floral aromatics, Gin, Volume features sassafras and white peppercorn. This delicious release also includes fennel and chicory root. These notable additions make up part of the botanical bill of McClintock Distilling Company’s Forager gin. Learn more.
Tamarind Honey Flavored Rum, Volume 1 | LYON RUM & Puerto Rico Distillery
This collaborative rum is the second release, crafted exclusively for the “Spirits of Collaboration” series. Tamarind Honey Flavored Rum, Volume 1 has a flavor profile that is inspired by Maryland’s rich rum-making history and the tradition of crafting Puerto Rican Pitorro.
Our collaboration rum is produced by LYON RUM and Puerto Rico Distillery. We begin with a robust and distinctive rum, fermented from 100% American sugar cane & pot-distilled at Windon Distilling Company on the Eastern Shore.
From there, the rum travels across the state to Frederick where it is infused with fresh tamarind, brown sugar, and a touch of Maryland honey to achieve the vibrant and intense traditional flavors of Puerto Rico. This rum makes for a truly unique Maryland spirit! Learn more.
