The Maryland Distillers Guild was founded in 2015 to amplify the energy of the state’s modern distilling industry. Members join together to encourage the high- quality production of spirits in Maryland, the use of local ingredients, recognition of the Maryland distilling industry, and advocating for more favorable regulations and laws.
We welcome licensed distilleries as full members, and offer a distillery in-planning membership for startups and an allied membership for supporting businesses looking to network with our members.
What You Get.
Members gain access to our members-only platform which hosts MDG event information and registrations, member-to-member communication, and critical updates about laws and regulations affecting Maryland distilleries. The Guild also hosts members-only promotional events, and works to grow members’ businesses by highlighting them in promotional materials.

Your support helps the Guild grow and support the industry by adding more voices to its efforts to change laws in Annapolis to improve the business climate for Maryland distilleries.
