On Saturday, January 31, 2026, the PAX River Naval Air Museum in California, Maryland, will host this celebration of locally crafted spirits. Enjoy a day of discovery as you sample whiskeys, gins, vodkas, and more from distilleries across the state. Meet the makers, explore Maryland’s rich distilling heritage, and find new favorites to take home.
VIP and General Admission tickets are available for this curated tasting experience featuring Maryland-made spirits, mixers, and local vendors. VIP guests are invited to enjoy an exclusive half-hour tasting period prior to General Admission entry for each session. Whiskey U is hosting a seminar on Maryland-made whiskey, offering insider knowledge and tasting tips from the experts. Limited non-drinking passes will also be available for guests interested in shopping for bottles or accompanying friends as designated drivers.

YOUR FRIDAY NIGHT WARM-UP
Kick off Spirits of Maryland: Southern Maryland with a relaxed and spirited dinner hosted by Tobacco Barn Distillery. A Bourbon and Beef Affair brings friends, great food, and locally crafted bourbon together for a one-night event with only fifty seats available. Guests are encouraged to purchase their dinner passes now to reserve a spot at this special pre-event gathering. This special dinner takes place inside a pop-up dining room as Tobacco Barn Distillery converts the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport terminal for the night.
Dinner is prepared by Chef Kevin Devine, formerly the Executive Chef at Google and now creating memorable dishes at Crave Catering in Annapolis. He is crafting a menu that is hearty, flavorful, and designed to pair nicely with the distillery’s spirits.
This dinner sets the stage for a great weekend and gives guests a chance to relax and enjoy a night out with the hosts of the Spirits of Maryland festivities. With only fifty seats available, dinner passes are expected to go quickly. Reserve your place today!
